SEARCHING FOR MINERALS BENEATH VOLCANOES - POWERING THE GREENTECH REVOLUTION

The roots of volcanic provinces are important sources of metals for society. In the summer of 2017 scientists from GEUS, together with researchers from the Universities of Cambridge and Exeter, journeyed to the Skaergaard intrusion, a classic geological locality on the remote east coast of Greenland to investigate how ore deposits form beneath volcanoes.
