Early warnings on pesticide leaching

Pesticides are use in most modern farming to control pests and their potential leaching into our groundwater is often debated. This raises some central questions on their safe use involving for example how much to use, on which crops and at what time of the year? A solid pesticide monitoring program has been developed in a joint venture between GEUS, The Danish EPA, and Department of Agro Ecology and Department of Bioscience, Aarhus University
