Tracing Plastic

Since the 1950s we have polluted almost every corner of our planet with plastic debris. From the higest peaks to the deepest oceans small plastic particles can be found. Follow Mikkel Fruergaard and his colleagues from University of Copenhagen on field work in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to investigate how microplastic accumulates in rivers, estuaries and along coasts.
